Nancy Beverly is a writer whose work spans novels, stage plays, television, film, web series, and personal essays. She began her professional career at Actors Theatre of Louisville, where she read and evaluated thousands of scripts, worked as a dramaturg, and saw several of her own plays produced.

After moving to Los Angeles, Nancy wrote for television, contributing to both comedies and dramas, including Roseanne, Blossom, Desperate Housewives, and Ghost Whisperer. She also wrote, produced, and directed the short film Shelby’s Vacation, which she later expanded into a novel.

Her writing blends humor, romance, emotional honesty, and an interest in people searching for connection and a clearer sense of themselves. Her one-person stage show, Sister From Another Planet, draws on her own experiences of identity and self-discovery.
